Organisations Policies Training (OPT) was established by Coreen Nugent in 2005 to help organisations, teams and individuals develop their knowledge and skills.

OPT core personnel are:

Coreen Nugent, BA (Hons), CIPD Cert. in Training Practice
OPT Co-ordinator

Coreen has over 20 years experience in employment relations and training.  OPT Co-ordinator, freelance trainer and a consultant on alcohol and drug services, Coreen works with organisations, managers and staff to implement action plans, policies and procedures.  She also provides day-to-day guidance to senior managers on all aspects of workforce development.

Coreen’s extensive experience also includes:

• Developing training plans and strategies
• Conducting training needs analysis
• Implementing training strategies for senior managers
• Developing accredited training modules

Jackie Sharland, BA (Hons), PGCE
OPT Senior Trainer

Jackie has over 15 years experience working with adults in Further Education.  She has worked for many years as a freelance consultant and trainer, providing valuable input to the development of OPT training modules and accreditation.  Jackie has recently developed and delivered communication and study skills courses in Higher Education.

Michelle Tracy, PGDip HRM
OPT Senior Trainer

Michelle’s career in management spans 18 years.  A management consultant since 2002, and a ‘Quality in Alcohol and Drugs Services’ (QuADS) Consultant, Michelle has supported organisations across several sectors with policy development, quality frameworks, change management, and developing and delivering training programmes.

Audrey West, BA (Hons), PGCE, DipPsych, MA
OPT Senior Trainer

Audrey has worked for over 20 years at senior level in organisational development and community regeneration.  An experienced trainer, qualified teacher and psychotherapist, Audrey is a multi skilled individual who sustains high quality standards in all aspects of delivery.
