Coreen Nugent Opt for Learning

With over 30 years’ experience working in human resources, workplace learning and development, and conflict resolution the Opt for Learning team have a deep knowledge and understanding of those areas of people management that can pose a risk to the business. These include absence, discipline, grievances, work performance, capability, conduct and workplace relationships.

Organisations Policies Training Ltd (Opt for Learning) was founded by Coreen Nugent in 2005. Coreen has extensive practical experience working with managers at all levels, including to develop and implement business plans, learning and development strategies, management development programmes and change management initiatives. Coreen also has substantial experience leading complex workplace investigations.

Opt for Learning’s practical experience and continuous research suggest that the more traditional methods of workplace learning may no longer align to the more flexible hybrid ways of working. Opt for Learning have therefore adopted a more progressive and innovative approach, better suited to the new ways of working such as office and virtual spaces, remote collaboration, and flexible working.

Our drive and focus for the future is to provide high-quality, innovative and affordable resources, easily adapted to support any people agenda, to build the workforce of the future.
